Janata Dhan Uchha Mabhi is a government school located at a remote village in Baglung district of western Nepal. The school provides education to both physically sound students and those with challenges. There are 23 students and three teachers who are visually impaired. To provide access to information technology for these visually challenged individuals, Rotaract Club Amsterdam Nachtwacht International, Rotaract Club of Pashupati – Kathmandu, and Rotaract Club of Parbat came together to implement a project at this school. We developed an idea to establish a computer library for them. The Rotaract Club Amsterdam Nachtwacht International in the Netherlands raised €535 (~Nrs. 59,000) and the project came to life. Rotaract Club of Pashupati – Kathmandu and Rotaract Club of Parbat acted as local partners to implement the project.
